Charlie helped me set the table by doing the place cards. They were mini chalkboards. I love all the “superlatives” he placed under our names. We also set a place for my mom….I love what he wrote about her….even after never meeting her.




the kids came up with an game where they had to draw something with their eyes closed. this one was a turkey. they wanted to pose with their eyes closed as well….well, some of them closed their eyes.
lots of lovin’ and football games….and not enough seating for a good afternoon nap…


a good brisk walk to the beach….
and home again for a good wrestling match before dinner…
thank you paul for making an amazing turkey….it was delicious!

and thank you pappy for snapping this shot…you were a much better photographer than i was on this shot (see below)…but i started to get nervous based on my husbands glazed over look that we were going to be taking more than “one” photo….turkey and stuffing were waiting!
