In the que for podcasts...Missing Richard Simmons...are you listening?
Description: On February 15, 2014, fitness guru Richard Simmons disappeared. He stopped teaching his regular exercise class at Slimmons, cut off his closest friends, and removed himself from the public eye after decades as one of the most accessible celebrities in the world. Nobody has heard from him - and no one knows why he left. Filmmaker Dan Taberski was a Slimmons regular and a friend of Richard’s. Missing Richard Simmons is Dan’s search for Richard - and the deeper he digs, the stranger it gets.

My new favorite colors for my home are white, black and green. These plates would work.

On the food front, this concept has sparked my interest. The downfall, you can't decide which restaurant to choose in this beautiful space. The upside, there is always an excuse to go back. A description from their site:
"Over the past two years, we've assembled a group of ten chefs ready to launch new restaurants while transforming the old Anderson Body Shop into a 350-seat food hall with roll-up garage doors, booth & bierhall tables, and an incredible neighborhood bar at the center of it all. This is your living room, your kitchen, your office, your new hangout spot, your Baltimore stoop, your happy place. It's R. House."

Although my phone is my calendar, I miss the wall calendar for our family to see each days activities. I like this one. (Sometimes I think my kids are still little.)
If only, I could wear this.
A session from 2007. The gallery appeared in my inbox as a reminder that the images still lived here online and not to forget they were there. After hours of browsing the images from 2007, I cringed about a couple of things. I think I gave my clients every image I ever took during our sessions instead of curating the very best ones. I think I also uploaded them straight from the camera...without a thought of an edit of anything more than a b+w conversion. What doesn't make me cringe is that these images, no matter how many there were, or how poorly they were edited, froze time, just this one day in their life. Ten years later, we yearn for these days. We have all grown. And with that, I will be adding a new series called Yearn, featuring curated and re-edited images from the beginning days of my business.
A few things...(or should I say everything but the kitchen sink...)
A self-tanning bronzing powder that actually tans you slightly while you’re wearing it.
I am not a fan of scary movies, but this rates 99% Rotten Tomatoes....and has me curious. Critics say: "Funny, scary, and thought-provoking, Get Out seamlessly weaves its trenchant social critiques into a brilliantly effective and entertaining horror/comedy thrill ride.

I think I had a beets in every salad I had while on a recent visit to Denver. I loved them all, especially the one I had at the Denver International Airport at Root Down. Eager to recreate one at home. This looks good for now.

Iceland becomes first country to make equal pay mandatory (and a shout out stateside to Minnesota!)
Do What You Can't by Casey Neistat. My boys love his vlogs...his language makes me cringe a little...but his messages are usually really fun and inspiring...(I think I am a mix of Titantic and Iceberg).

How fun are these maps (image above). CinkArt is a local artist who creates these unique designs, mapping out the city and all the details and special landmarks for your event. She has created these for cities all over the world. Her invitation line is also beautiful and one to rival with these gorgeous hand cut wedding invitations.
I have had a crush on wallpaper since I was a child. The repeating patterns, the colors and the character it would bring to a home. We recently used Chasing Paper for its non committal "peel and stick" quality and we love the results. Have I told you about this resource before? If so, it is worth repeating.
This video guide is the new modern TV guide. The app allows you to search for shows across all streaming services; Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, HBO and more, to find that show you heard about that was worth watching.
